Let’s talk really good business.

We all want to be better humans. But change is hard.

It’s not just about doing things differently. It’s about thinking differently, feeling differently, and breaking down the habits and structures that have held us back so that we can interact with the world around us in a new way.

It’s about accepting where we are and how we are shaped by the system we are all part of, recognising where we have influence, and being brave enough to lead the way to change the system for the better.

"B Lab’s vision is of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet.

By enabling a change in the role of business so that it becomes a force for good within the economic system, we can positively impact the nature of the system itself.

We work in a global partnership to redefine the role of business."

Come on the B Corp journey with us

We’ve found that many purpose-led business owners love the philosophy behind the B Corp movement and intend to make the changes needed to certify, but have been overwhelmed by the process and so have trouble getting started, or maintaining momentum.

So we’ve developed a change program where we co-create what being a really good business means to you, and get your team excited about making this a living and breathing part of your business. We follow the B Corp framework so that at the end of the program, you will have a clear roadmap to qualify for certification and beyond.

Paul RhodesCEO & Co-founder I Dig

We engaged Really Good for our B Corp application. We had no idea on how to go about it and simply could not have tackled it without Really Good. Kirsty and Beth guided us throughout the process with expert knowledge, demonstrating care and passion throughout.

Justine MarinoGeneral Manager I Grade

Choosing to engage Beth and Kirsty from Really Good to help kick-start and guide our B Corp journey was critical in actually getting us on our way. My guess is we'd still be thinking about it and not sitting here with a clear plan of action and a realistic timeframe for completing our application.

Our business exists to create impact

We have set up our business to be a B Corp by design, and are currently being assessed for our own B Corp certification - which is an absolute prerequisite to hold ourselves accountable to, given that our core purpose is to help companies to embrace the B Corp philosophy and collaborate to create change as part of the movement.

Our business exists to transform business culture in Australia and New Zealand through the B Corp movement. We, Kirsty and Beth are the sole owners and directors of the business and as directors we have held ourselves legally accountable for the commercial, social and environmental impact of the business, supported by a trusted advisory board representing each Impact Area in the B Impact Assessment.

We measure our impact in direct support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with our two core goals being Decent Work and Economic Growth and Quality Education. This is in line with our Theory of Change, in support of the New Economy advocated for by B Lab, through our business and impact training, coaching and mentoring services.

We commit to continually improving our impact and will be publicly reporting on our progress on an annual basis. Watch this space, and please get in touch with any questions, ideas or feedback.

We support 1% for the Planet

Who we are

Really Good was founded by two lifelong friends on a mission to change the way we do business. Together we have over three decades of experience advising on running companies and building brands. Having worked mainly for small businesses and startups, we are used to balancing idealism with pragmatism, and we’re fired up by making change happen with agile teams.

We have both completed the B Consultant training program run by B Lab Australia & New Zealand, to gain in-depth knowledge of the B Corp movement and help companies prepare for certification.
